Paid Time Off
We want to ensure our employees have time outside of the office by providing vacation days, sick days, dependent sick days, and holidays. You’ll also be awarded additional vacation & sick days the longer you are employed.
Given up front, initially 15 days per year. Additional days are awarded depending on the length of service. Prorated depending on the month of hire.
Accrues per pay period; new hire receives 15 days per year. Prorated depending on the month of hire.
Farm Credit Midsouth recognizes 10 holidays annually.
Wellness Program / Healthy Returns
Farm Credit Midsouth gives each employee $300 annually to live a healthier life whether that’s joining a gym, buying a treadmill, or purchasing healthier foods at the grocery store.
Live a healthier life with (optional participation) in programs designed to fit your goals. All Farm Credit Midsouth employees, as well as spouses/domestic partners can each earn up to $600 by completing HealthyReturns activities each year.
Plan for your future with our amazing 3% employer contribution, plus up to 6% employer match, for a potential of 9%.
401(k) plan allows employees to participate in the 401(k) plan the first of the month following their date of hire. Employees may contribute 1% to 75% of salary on either a pre-tax or after-tax basis unless limited by IRS regulations. Farm Credit Midsouth matches dollar for dollar on the first 6% contributed.
Choose between two BCBS medical plans, two dental plans and a vision plan designed to fit your circumstances.
Optional medical coverage provides two plans to choose from through BlueCross/Blue Shield. Each plan offers prescription drug coverage and preventative benefits that pay 100% of in-network eligible charges for routine preventive care services for each covered person.
Managed vision care available through participating provider network. Spouse and/or family plan available.
Optional basic and comprehensive dental plan cover preventative, diagnostic services (exams, cleanings, fillings and x-rays).

Tax Advantage Accounts
A great way to lower your taxable income and pay for various expenses is to enroll in and contribute to a tax advantage account. When you pay for expenses on a pre-tax basis, your taxable income is lower and you will pay less in taxes at the end of the year. If you expect to have any out-of-pocket health care or day care expenses during the plan year, you will want to consider putting money into a tax-advantage account. Options include: Health Savings Account, Health Care Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account.
Optional spending accounts allow payroll deductions to be made on a pre-tax basis to pay for health-care expenses not covered by the medical or dental plans and/or dependent-care expenses.
Short-Term Disability / Long-Term Disability
Provides STD coverage equal to 50% of your total compensation as well as LTD coverage equal to 66.67% of your total compensation. You automatically receive this coverage and do not need to enroll.
Life Insurance, including an equal amount of Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage (for employees only — not dependents) is provided at 1x the employee's benefits eligible earnings to a maximum of $1,500,000.
Employees also have the option to purchase additional Basic Employee Life Insurance/AD&D Insurance in the amount of 1x benefits eligible earnings.
Business Travel Insurance
Employer-paid insurance covers accidental death or dismemberment that may occur while traveling on company business. This is equal to 3x the employee's benefits-eligible earnings.
Group Universal Life Insurance
Optional program allows employees to purchase additional life insurance at 1x to 10x their current annual base salary to a maximum of $1,500,000. Premium is based upon age and is payroll deducted.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
As an employer paid benefit, the plan covers employees or employees and their families in the event of a death or dismemberment as a result of an accident.
